When Art meets Hotels in Paris, the example of CitizenM

On a former insurer building, at a few steps away from Gare de Lyon, you will have the surprise to find the third parisian hotel of the dutch CitizenM hospitality chain.
After months of renovation, this new place, designed by the dutch Concrete Studio, is dedicated to Art and Luxury at an “affordable price”.

All the rooms follow the guidelines of the chain with a concentrate of technology, among them, the room mood remote control via a MoodPad, to regulate the free Smart tv and unlimited free movies, also the mood light to colour your shower and your panoramic windows, nearby the XL bed, the design furniture made by Vitra.
At canteenM you will find something to eat and drink 24/7, whether you want breakfast at night or dinner in the early morning. There’s a wide choice of places to consume your meal: at a shared table, on the couch or in picnic mode in your room, anything is possible. The “Mbassadors” are also baristas and at your disposal to prepare you a café or show you their mixology know-how with CitizenM own cocktails.
If you feel going higher, you have the choice to try the rooftop CloudM bar with a stunning 360 degrees view of Paris and its monuments, at the 16th floor.
This intimate space completed by a marble bar and oak furniture is open everyday as well to the hotel visitors, until midnight with a menu of cocktails and mocktails also affordable, between 10 and 15 euros. Sometimes, events are organised with partners like this cocktail masterclass made with Crystal Head Vodka, corn manufactured in a canadian ice island and distributed by France Liqueurs.
