Indeed, this major local <strong>hospitality<\/strong> hot spot experienced a masterful <strong>restoration<\/strong> which has been operated in only 9 months, in 2008, and lead by the <strong>Starwood Hotels<\/strong>. The edification of these <strong>chapels<\/strong> was even preceded by a couple <strong>surveys<\/strong> regarding the different trees of the <strong>park<\/strong>, in order to identify the suitable <strong>areas<\/strong> for the construction of these basically ephemeral <strong>structures<\/strong>, which finally lasted, over the years, for the whole pleasure of the visitors. As a good introduction, a first duet of architects <strong>Francesco Magnani<\/strong> and <strong>Traudy Pelzel<\/strong> invented the <strong>Asplund Chapel<\/strong>, as its <strong>design<\/strong> references to the legendary <strong>Swedish<\/strong> artwork of <strong>Gunnar Asplund<\/strong> reduced as the scale of a <strong>hut<\/strong>. In this natural context he has designed a space for <strong>contemplation<\/strong>, where, enveloped in a play of light and shadow, visitors move away from the course and are focused only on the water and the sky.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t also miss the mechanic <strong>chapel<\/strong> imagined by the <strong>Australian<\/strong> architect <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seangodsell.com\"><strong>Sean Godsell<\/strong><\/a>. An extraordinary interpretation of the new technologies applied for the construction, since this <strong>metallic<\/strong> structure may be electronically opened to unveil a beautiful <strong>altar<\/strong>, enlightened by a golden <strong>fitting<\/strong>, diving from a <strong>light shaft<\/strong> chimney. Deeply inspired by typical small <strong>sanctuaries<\/strong>, directly emanating from the <strong>Mexican<\/strong> tradition, his <strong>studio<\/strong> experimented here a combination of innovative <strong>material<\/strong> solutions. Through an original <strong>interior<\/strong> texture, obtained by inserting sheets of <strong>bubble wrap<\/strong> into the <strong>concrete<\/strong> formwork, you would be invited to come inside this singular <strong>chapel<\/strong>. The front is open to welcome visitors, as an alternative <strong>portico<\/strong>, where a minimalist <strong>wooden<\/strong> bench favors the convergence. Beyond the <strong>backstage<\/strong>, dividing the interior side from the exterior one, we find ourselves in a very intimate space that deserves a certain <strong>introspection <\/strong>to anybody.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to this, another <strong>chapel<\/strong> was designed by a duet of architects from <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>, as <a href=\"http:\/\/floresprats.com\"><strong>Ricardo Flores<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/floresprats.com\"><strong>Eva Prats<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp; located at the eastern end of the park. This was called the <strong>Morning Chapel<\/strong>, and is oriented in a way to capture as much as possible the first <strong>rays<\/strong> of the <strong>Sun<\/strong> rising at the horizon, through a circular opening, settled in the wall of the small <strong>niche<\/strong>. Based on a deep analyze of the <strong>Venitian<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>impact on the <strong>artistic <\/strong>trends, here on the contemporary <strong>American<\/strong> glass <strong>art<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Therefore, the present intention was to exactly deepen the influence of <strong>aesthetics<\/strong> technology and the <strong>traditional<\/strong> processing know-how, developed in the legendary <strong>Venetian<\/strong> glass factories, such as <strong>Murano<\/strong>. For instance, muchly visible in the <strong>American Glass Studio<\/strong>, showing how from the 1960s, the original blown <strong>glass<\/strong> <strong>Art<\/strong> switched into a real <strong>industrialization<\/strong>, particularly in the <strong>United States<\/strong>.
