Sitting in front of the mythical facade of the Louvre Museum, these monumental sculptures of Juan Garaizabal found a right location for their metallic reflects, to be highlighted to you. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For this outdoor exhibition, on which the Spanish artist has been working since 2008, supported by his Galerie Bogena and the CMAC Paris 1st, it was conceived as a tribute to the former Tuileries Palace, an emblematic castle destroyed in 1883. Maybe have you already heard about his <a href=\"http:\/\/memoriasurbanas.com\/\"><strong><em>Memorias Urbanas Foundation<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (also know as <em><strong>Urban Memories<\/strong><\/em>) that symbolizes his career? Most of the time, his installations are erected in <strong>emblematic<\/strong> sites throughout the <strong>Planet<\/strong>, with the goal to create some sorts of alternative <strong><em>memorial monuments<\/em><\/strong>. In fact, <strong>Juan Garaizabal<\/strong> pays much attention to a few significant <strong>historical<\/strong> elements of the cities he visits and tends to revive in his own way, between his three workshops in <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, <strong>Miami<\/strong> and <strong>Berlin<\/strong>. In order to make this challenge possible, apart the mastering of various <strong>techniques<\/strong> he has learned over times (such as: <strong>masonry<\/strong>, <strong>carpentry<\/strong> and <strong>forging<\/strong> metal), the <strong>artist<\/strong> enjoys employing the <strong>drawing<\/strong> art, which he studied in his youth at the <strong>Academy<\/strong> in <strong>Madrid<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Represented by the <strong>Bogena Gallery <\/strong>(cf. upper), in the heart of the <strong>French Riviera<\/strong>, this<strong> art center<\/strong> is run by the architect <strong>Bog\u00e9na Gidrol<\/strong>. Stretched in an ancestral house, since 2013, at the foot of the illustrious medieval <strong>village<\/strong> of <strong>Saint-Paul-de-Vence<\/strong>, and just behind the <strong>Maeght<\/strong> <strong>Foundation<\/strong>, this <strong>Art forum<\/strong> offers a rich selection of <strong>contemporary<\/strong> artists. Those three monumental <strong>sculptures<\/strong> are set to pay a tribute to the <strong>Urban Memory<\/strong> of the <strong>Lost Tuileries<\/strong>, by the time a beautiful <strong>castle<\/strong> was installed at this location. With these <strong>steel<\/strong> fragments, we dive into the past within these interactive <strong>sculptures<\/strong>, connecting the link between yesterday and today.
