This pursues an <strong>artistic<\/strong> philosophy initiated on the largest and oldest square in <strong>Nice<\/strong>, called the <strong>Place Mass\u00e9na<\/strong>, which was one of the oldest <strong>contemporary<\/strong> squares, since it was built in 1820. On this square, we find the <strong>Cubist<\/strong>-inspired statue of <em><strong>Apollo<\/strong><\/em> made by the same artist as the <strong>Palais de Tokyo<\/strong> in <strong>Paris<\/strong>, namely <strong>Alfred Janniot&nbsp;<\/strong>(photos: Alex Plato).<\/p>\n<p>Although, this longtime-neglected <strong>artwork<\/strong> finally returned to <strong>Nice<\/strong> in 2007, accompanied by the <em><strong>Conversations<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;high luminous series imagined by <strong>Jaume Plensa<\/strong>, the same year.
