architect <strong>Legrand<\/strong>..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the charming <a href=\"https:\/\/iicparigi.esteri.it\/iic_parigi\/fr\/\"><strong>Italian Cultural Institute<\/strong> of <strong>Paris<\/strong><\/a>, located in the heart of the <strong>ministries<\/strong> district, has many tasks to enroll, in order to represent the <strong>Italian<\/strong> touch in <strong>Paris<\/strong>. Therefore, this <strong>cultural center<\/strong> is responsible for promoting the <strong>Italian<\/strong> language and culture. Among its main objectives are the organization of <strong>Italian<\/strong> language and culture <strong>tuitions<\/strong>&nbsp;but also the realization of <strong>cultural<\/strong> initiatives, naturally with the <strong>Italian<\/strong> thematics, through many <strong>aspects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">For instance and until the 28th September 2022, the region of <strong>Puglia<\/strong> is honored, within the <strong>exhibition<\/strong> stamped <em><strong>&#8220;APULIA, Mysteries of Puglia between land, stones and sea&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. That&#8217;s why, you are invited to further explore in <strong>Paris<\/strong>, the mysteries of this <strong>region<\/strong>, through three distinct <strong>sections<\/strong>, where are revealed some <strong>artworks<\/strong>, for some never exhibited in <strong>France<\/strong> before.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In the first <strong>archaeological<\/strong> section, you could admire about twenty exceptional <strong>pieces<\/strong>, from the <strong>4th-3rd<\/strong> centuries BC. Those precious <strong>elements<\/strong> were reunited&nbsp; to evoke those ancient <strong>times<\/strong>, when this part of southern <strong>Italy<\/strong> was an <strong>Attic<\/strong> colony under the name of <em><strong>&#8220;Magna Gr\u00e6cia&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. With this temporary <strong>art installation<\/strong>, you would learn more about this artist, graduated from the <strong>Glasgow School of Arts <\/strong>and the <strong>Slade School of Art<\/strong>, who developed a certain taste for modern <strong>material<\/strong>, such as <strong>performances<\/strong> on <strong>VCR<\/strong> material. Instead of working in a <strong>factory<\/strong>, he decided to work regarding the question of <strong>time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 1996, <strong>Douglas Gordon<\/strong> was the first <strong>videographer<\/strong> to be awarded by the very prestigious <strong>Turner Prize<\/strong>. Currently living between <strong>Mexico City<\/strong> and <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, he enjoys sharing his own vision here about <strong>materials <\/strong>(from glass, wood, plaster, ceramics, bronze until tin), notably from industrial <strong>foundries<\/strong> which he learned at a very young age and adapts them to his on <strong>creations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Although made using the same <strong>molds<\/strong>, each of his <strong>artworks<\/strong> is unique because <strong>Mascar\u00f3<\/strong> lets himself be carried away by the <strong>fusion<\/strong> process.
