The Maisons Pariente, a collection of five-star hotels is opening through many touristic hot spots in France, like in the Alps, the Riviera and later Paris. This new hospitality company is grounded by the Pariente family, famous for the creation by the time, of the successful french textile Naf Naf company.\u00a0After selling those textile brands, a new challenge arose in order to build a collection of five-star establishments.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"At the origin of this ambitious project to step into the very competitive French luxury hospitality industry with the Maisons Pariente<\/a>, the homonymous Pariente family (photo credits: Andreas B Kruger), composed of Patrick Pariente brothers in photo here with his\u00a0eldest daughter, Leslie Kouhana, who chairs Maisons Pariente and her sister Kimberley Pariente, the Artistic Director, plus Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Picard, the CEO of the hotel group.<\/div>\n

The investments involved are basically at the height of those expectations, since the Pariente brothers, Patrick, put more than 300 million euros on the table to build this new group, managed by a hospitality expert Frederic Picard (on photo upon).\u00a0Indeed, it must be known that each hotel will be equiped a pool, spa and restaurant; those facilities would help to reach the philosophy of the entity, that is “to feel like home”.<\/div>\n

\"\"This budget was necessary to firstly renovate three acquired hotels. The first to be reborn would be\u00a0Hotel Crillon Le Brave<\/a>, followed by the Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez, on June 2019 and later on,\u00a0Le Coucou Hotel <\/strong>in M\u00e9ribel ski resort, planned for December 2019.\u00a0 Finally, one other hotel would be settled in the Marais area in Paris, in 2020. All those projects include a collaboration between many relooking masters, that we would focus on just here after.<\/div>\n

We could consider that this Pariente adventure in hospitality business was initiated thanks to their association with\u00a0Oetker Collection<\/a>, that operates\u00a0L’Apog\u00e9e<\/a> in Courchevel (Savoie, French Alps), acquired with Xavier Niel (the founder of Free Mobile). Furthermore, supporting the first steps of the group in this new world, their\u00a0Hotel Crillon Le Brave<\/a> in Vaucluse (Provence) is also a member of the Relais & Ch\u00e2teaux<\/a> network.\u00a0The last project, on the current list; would be an urban Hotel in the Marais, just behind the BHV store, in Paris, which would be operated from spring 2021. The construction works are expected to start next September, still in association with Xavier Niel. The presentation was lead during a cocktail between the walls of the future establishment covered by white sheets, last March 2019.<\/p>\n

\"\"No need to introduce again the famous harbour of Saint Tropez as a summer resort for international stars. From May 2019, the next star would be you to admire the result of 2 years of lifting of the Lou Pinet<\/a> hotel.<\/div>\n

This transformation phase has started in 2017, with the involvement of Charles Zana for architecture, the landscaper Jean Mus for the design of gardens and moreover Riccardo Giraudi regarding the BeefBar restaurant (photo credits: Adrien Daste). 34 rooms filled with Provence mood.<\/div>\n

This establishment is indeed settled in the homonymous village whose origins date back to the Roman era, more than 2000 years ago.<\/div>\n
It’s located not that far from the Dr\u00f4me Proven\u00e7ale<\/em>\u00a0(50km), a very cultural area, famous for its Grignan castle where lived the epistolary Marquise de S\u00e9vign\u00e9 (check our article here<\/a><\/strong>).<\/div>\n

For information, the Mont-Ventoux is a peak in the French department of Vaucluse in the Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d’Azur region. Culminating at 1,910 meters, it is about 25 kilometers long on an east-west axis and 15 kilometers wide on a north-south axis. Nicknamed the G\u00e9ant de Provence<\/em>\u00a0(Giant of Provence) or the Montagne Chauve<\/em> (Bald Mountain), it is the highest point of the mountains of Vaucluse and the highest peak of Vaucluse. Its geographical isolation makes it visible over great distances. It is the linguistic border between north and south Occitan.<\/div>\n
