This Prize highlights and rewards books that talk about cuisine, products, terroirs and the history of European gastronomy, through quality texts and photos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In 2009, on the death of Pierre-Christian Taittinger, co-founder and emeritus supporter of this trophy, it was supplemented by a Special Jury Prize Pierre-Christian Taittinger in his memory. In 2021, St\u00e9phane Layani, President of the Prix jury, decided to associate the Prix Rungis des Gourmets with it.
