Indeed, at the origin of the Printemps’ concept, we find a former seller of women’s clothing, Jules Jaluzot, who wished to invest his young wife’s dowry wisely. A real piece of Art Nouveau<\/em>, the current Printemps building and its large stained-glass dome were erected in 1908. Although, a couple of years later, the Printemps store initiated its own Saison 1865 brand, as an inclusive, committed and stylish ready-to-wear and accessories brand. <\/strong>By AL<\/em><\/div>\n

Thus, this is a premiere<\/em> for Printemps<\/strong> but also an avant-garde<\/em> clothing<\/strong> adventure for the structure, since most of the pieces issued from the Saison 1865<\/strong> collections are either made from noble<\/strong> or recycled<\/strong> raw materials. Therefore, the spirit of this young fashion house<\/strong>, embodied by this set of original ready-to-wear<\/strong> pieces, to be renewed<\/strong> season after season and mostly inspired by some of the key seasonal<\/strong> trends. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Apart from this, another important fact is that most of the outfits<\/strong> developed, by the Saison 1865<\/strong> collections, are made in Europe<\/strong>. In another hand, the men’s small leather accessories<\/strong> are even fully made in France<\/strong>. This bilateral decision<\/strong> was made with the desire to promote as much as possible local know-how<\/strong> and crafts<\/strong>.  <\/div>\n

Nonetheless and as a player committed to change, Printemps<\/strong> quite naturally thought of its new own brand<\/strong> as a committed brand<\/strong> eligible for its Unis Vers Le Beau<\/strong><\/em> responsible label<\/strong>. In order to make this green dream possible, Saison 1865<\/strong> has decided to employ certified cotton<\/strong> for its T-shirts<\/strong> and Hoodies<\/strong>, along woolen cloth<\/strong> woven made from recycled wool<\/strong> for its coats<\/strong>, without forgetting the fully recycled polyester<\/strong> for some its jackets<\/strong>, and even LyoCell<\/strong> material for its knit dresses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With an other wish to make Saison 1865<\/strong> as a perfect illustration<\/strong> of its commitment to the environmental protection<\/strong> and alternative social projects<\/strong>, the Printemps<\/strong> group would donate 1% of the profit from its Saison 1865<\/strong>‘s sales to an association<\/strong> supporting the empowerment of young people<\/strong>.<\/div>\n

For this second season, Saison 1865<\/strong> presents a dozen of summertime<\/strong> pieces, able to bring together different singular<\/strong> points of view from this classy<\/strong>, arty<\/strong>, glamour<\/strong> and really fresh<\/strong> spirit from those transgenerational<\/strong> and transgender<\/strong> wardrobe’s elements. Indeed, those various clothes<\/strong> and bags<\/strong> tend to free themselves from any kind of ready-to-wear codes<\/strong>, but keep a simple allure<\/em><\/strong>, due to monochromic bags<\/strong> and classic silhouettes<\/strong><\/em> dedicated for heterogeneous body sizes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

That’s why, you couldn’t pass through the ethnic<\/strong> inspirations for this new collection, starring shiny silver<\/strong> and even zebra<\/strong> patterns (visible in full ensembles<\/strong><\/em> and as well in swimsuits<\/strong>) along oriental<\/strong> mesh, among other casual<\/strong> and corporate outfits<\/strong>, mainly made from plain cloth<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
