This colorful <strong>wedding<\/strong> is located on the right bank of the <strong>Rh\u00f4ne<\/strong> river, with these <strong>plots<\/strong> being based on homogeneous and essentially <strong>granitic<\/strong> soils.&nbsp; Structured by <strong>vines<\/strong> evolving on sloped planted <strong>terraces<\/strong>, those <strong>vineyards<\/strong> stand on a large scale <strong>age<\/strong> range, from 5 (notably in white juices) until the early 50 years old. This <strong>mixity<\/strong> probably explains the heterogeneity and richness of <strong>flavors<\/strong>, present inside the line of <em><strong>Saint-Joseph<\/strong><\/em> (mostly composed of 90% <em><strong>Marsanne<\/strong><\/em> and 10% <em><strong>Roussanne<\/strong><\/em> for the <strong>white<\/strong> wines and only <em><strong>Syrah<\/strong><\/em> varieties for the <strong>red<\/strong> wines), issued by this <strong>Domaine Christophe Pichon<\/strong>. For instance, why don&#8217;t you ask for this delicate <em><strong>2019<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Saint Joseph<\/strong><\/em>, expressing the purity from <em><strong>Marsanne<\/strong><\/em>? It&#8217;s commonly known that <em><strong>Syrah<\/strong><\/em> is the main <strong>grape variety<\/strong> of this <strong>appellation<\/strong>, which is sometimes added by a touch of <em><strong>Viognier<\/strong><\/em> variety. In this case, we could suggest you to try the <em><strong>C\u00f4te R\u00f4tie Promesse 2019<\/strong><\/em>, fully made of 90% <em><strong>Syrah<\/strong><\/em> and 10% <em><strong>Viognier<\/strong><\/em>. Therefore, the <strong>aging<\/strong>&nbsp;phase is estimated of <strong>13 months<\/strong>, 75% realized in <strong>new<\/strong> <strong>barrels<\/strong> and 25% in <strong>one-year old<\/strong> <strong>barrels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The <strong>aging<\/strong> is the same for the <em><strong>C\u00f4te R\u00f4tie Rozier 2019<\/strong><\/em>, but this time only in <strong>new barrels<\/strong>. This sensation of <strong>young barrels<\/strong> still pursues with the <em><strong>C\u00f4te R\u00f4tie La Comtesse<\/strong><\/em> cuv\u00e9e, but here during <strong>18 months<\/strong>. There, you could find a mix between 0.75 ha of <em><strong>Syrah<\/strong><\/em>, and 0.25 ha of <em><strong>Viognier<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>For example, we suggest you this <em><strong>Cuv\u00e9e &#8220;All\u00e9gorie&#8221; 2019<\/strong><\/em>, vinified from this&nbsp;<em><strong>AOP<\/strong> <strong>Cornas<\/strong><\/em>. Its&nbsp;<strong>vines<\/strong>&nbsp;are planted on steeply sloping granite <strong>soil<\/strong>, based in <strong>Cornas<\/strong> in <strong>Ard\u00e8che<\/strong>, on the right bank of the <strong>Rh\u00f4ne<\/strong>&nbsp;river, near <strong>Valence<\/strong>. This <strong>red wine<\/strong> holds a very deep <strong>ruby red<\/strong> color, anticipating an elegant fragrance of <strong>red<\/strong> and <strong>black fruits<\/strong>, so representative of <em><strong>Syrah<\/strong><\/em>.
