Their history finds its origin in a heartbeat, a timeless passion, materialized by a fragrance, designed nearly 200 years ago. <\/strong>This return to its original sources is not only an olfactory exploration, but a true ode to the freedom of spirit and artistic impertinence of Alfred d’Orsay, the eponymous creator of the house. Through a contemporary approach, D’Orsay<\/em> somehow revives the essence of its founder, combining history and modernity, while remaining faithful to the French tradition of perfumery. Once upon a time, Alfred d’Orsay<\/strong>, a 19th-century aristocrat<\/strong>, notably known for his charisma<\/strong>, marked his era with his style<\/strong>, refined taste<\/strong>, and freedom<\/strong> of thought. He moved with ease in the salons<\/strong> of Paris<\/strong> and London<\/strong>, influencing fashion<\/strong>, art<\/strong>, and culture<\/strong>. Yet, beyond his elegance<\/strong> and worldly success<\/strong>, it was his relentless quest for beauty<\/strong> and his independence<\/strong> that made him unique. Having grown up in a full lifestyle<\/strong> universe, Am\u00e9lie Huynh<\/strong> considers perfumes as an intimate art form<\/strong>, able to tell a story of love<\/strong> or desire<\/strong>. The first extract<\/strong>, named Flower Lust<\/strong><\/em>, is an invitation to sensuality<\/strong>. Created by Dominique Ropion<\/strong>, a renowned master perfumer<\/strong>, this floral<\/strong> and amber<\/strong> fragrance is an explosion of luxury<\/strong> and voluptuousness<\/strong>. Adorned with notes of pink<\/strong> and black peppers<\/strong>, along orange blossom<\/strong> and ylang-ylang<\/strong>, all intertwining together to create a captivating wake<\/strong>. For instance, Dominique Ropion<\/strong>, known for his almost mathematical<\/strong> approach of perfume<\/strong> creation, wanted to pay tribute to excessive passion<\/strong> here. Here, Flower Lust<\/strong><\/em> highlights ylang-ylang<\/strong>, an exotic flower<\/strong>, full of aphrodisiac<\/strong> properties, sustainably harvested in Madagascar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The second extract<\/strong>, known under Tonka Hysteria<\/strong><\/em>, is an ode this time to tonka<\/strong> beans<\/strong>. Jordi Fernandez<\/strong>, a passionate self-taught perfumer<\/strong>, designed this fragrance<\/strong> as a tribute to the meeting of two beings<\/strong>, attracted to each other. The tonka bean<\/strong>, with its gourmand<\/strong> notes of vanilla<\/strong> and caramel<\/strong>, is combined with iris pallida<\/strong> to create a fragrance<\/strong>, that is both powdery<\/strong> and amber<\/strong>. The tonka bean<\/strong> harvesting process is particularly environmentally<\/strong> friendly, with the various seeds<\/strong> being roasted to intensify their aroma<\/strong> before extraction.<\/p>\n

The last extract<\/strong>, baptized Incense Crush<\/strong><\/em>, immerses us in a woody<\/strong> and spicy<\/strong> universe. Julien Rasquinet<\/strong>, fascinated by the olfactory<\/strong> culture of the Middle East<\/strong>, wanted to create a perfume<\/strong> that tells a love story<\/strong>. Notes of incense<\/strong>, cardamom<\/strong> and clove<\/strong> melt together to form a composition<\/strong>, that is both mystical<\/strong> and sensual<\/strong>. The incense<\/strong>, or olibanum<\/strong> essence, used in this creation<\/strong>, is harvested in an artisanal<\/strong> way, according to ancestral traditions<\/strong>, also favoring partnerships<\/strong> with local producers<\/strong>, committed to sustainable agricultural<\/strong> practices.<\/p>\n
