L’Entropiste Paris wishes to embody a new approach to perfumery, where each creation is much more than a fragrance..

Last February, 2025, L’Entropiste Paris perfume brand opened its first space in the heart of the Marais district, at 59 rue des Francs-Bourgeois, in the old center of Paris. Created by the illustrious perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, this multi-faceted 75 m² location was designed in collaboration with the British architectural firm, named Fairerol.

This contemporary concept-store, divided into four distinct zones, invites visitors to discover a world that is both sensory and artistic. As you can see, we invite you here to discover this brand new ambitious olfactory project. By AL

..a unique place where chaos and beauty meet to offer true sensory experiences.
Conveying a true work of art, an invitation to explore life‘s paradoxes and find harmony in imbalances..

From the entrance, a minimalist space showcases the creations of L’Entropiste Paris, in a refined decor made from raw materials. The scenography relies on strong graphic elements, such as the D Table and the D Wall, which echo the D letter of Duchaufour and Disorder, embodying some parts from the brand’s DNA (photo credits : L’Entropiste Paris).

This first space then leads to a refined laboratory, where perfume bottles can be refilled, before leading to the office of the master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, also known as the “Master of Disorder”. Finally, an art gallery, open year-round, presents artworks by established and emerging international artists, highlighting the brand‘s desire to connect the worlds of perfumery and art

..this olfactory space is made to amaze you.
Visibly inspired by ethnic art but not only..

As far as we know, L’Entropiste Paris defines itself as a tribute to the evolution of life, its disorders and transformations. The brand’s very name somehow refers to entropy, a fundamental principle of the universe that governs imbalance and leads to chaos. According to Bertrand Duchaufour, entropy is the very essence of his creations, deliberately introducing imbalance to activate a dynamic, where harmony arises from unexpected contrasts. Thus, each of the brand’s fragrances becomes an artistic manifesto, as a true invitation to appreciate the beauty, certainly born from chaos.

..just behind his perfume studio, to find in the showroom.
Let’s meet Bertrand Duchaufour in persona..

Indeed, L’Entropiste Paris conveys a rooted path in a unique philosophy, deeply influenced by the experience of the creator of this project. For instance, the so-called nez Bertrand Duchaufour, father of no less than more than 300 perfumes through various brands, is renowned for his expertise and avant-garde vision. Having left his mark on prestigious houses, such as Amouage, Comme des Garçons, Kilian, and even L’Artisan Parfumeur, he embraces a sensory and poetic approach to perfumery. His ability to capture the essence of opposites and balance, where countless scented forces makes those creations a field of experimentation, where each fragrance questions life and its evolution.

..a true exploration of the complexity of human existence.
Each fragrance, imagined by L’Entropiste Paris may be considered as..

The brand’s olfactory universe is based on characteristic notes, such as metallic aldehyde, which symbolizes blood substance at the origin of life. In the first collection, each fragrance tells a story, deeply rooted in humanity, where chaos becomes a creator of beauty and emotion. Among the first brand’s creations, the Dorian Spleen fragrance plunges the wearer into a spiral of melancholy and immortality. Deeply inspired by the Portrait of Dorian Gray novel, a character consumed by boredom and disillusionment, is conveyed through aromas of whiskey, coffee, and dark chocolate, which transform over time into a bitter, ashy smoke, reflecting its dark soul. In fact, this original fragrance embodies the inner conflict, between elegance and decadence.

..until the double meaning option of Semence Douce.
From the japanese mood, of Blanc Sada..

Thereafter, don’t miss the Blanc Sada reference, that meanwhile, pays homage to the sensuality and mystery of a fascinating feminine figure. Inspired by the image of an immaculate geisha, it blends notes of rice powder, lychee, iris, and vanilla, creating a fragrance, as delicate as it is poetic. This creation evokes a pure and ephemeral beauty, a tribute to the art of discreet seduction. Without missing Semence Douce, able to transport us into a reflection around the cycle of life and death. With its accords of almond, saffron, and tulip, it celebrates the fragile beauty of existence. This fragrance is a metaphor for beginning and end, a tribute to the innocence and finiteness that gives life all its richness and meaning.

..that invites us to reconnect with new sensations.
Each of those unique gems are a true olfactory journey..

On top of that, Jodhpur 6AM is inspired by India at early mornings, capturing the first light of day and the intensity of the aromas that emerge in the streets of Jodhpur. It seems that chai, spices like ginger and cardamom, and the sweetness of milk create a warm and enveloping fragrance, symbolizing the richness of sensations that awaken us to the beauty of the World. Whereas Altamura, meanwhile, plunges into the infinity of the universe. Inspired by the encounter between humans and the cosmos, this fragrance is characterized by notes of sweet orange, strong alcohol, and incense, suggesting a mystical connection between Earth and the stars

..never far from any Dawn Whispers to share with others.
Let’s light up your days with those 4 scented candles..

Finally, Dawn Whispers evokes the boundary between the real and the invisible horizons. This fragrance, both cold and enveloping, opens with ozonic and metallic notes, before warming with woody and musky accents. A mysterious scent that resonates like a reflection on time and afterlife. At the same time, L’Entropiste Paris also offers scented candles, such as Éclat de Lune and Fleur d’Ombre, which extend this olfactory exploration. Inspired by legends and mystical tales, these candles create poetic atmospheres, paying homage to perfumery art in a different, yet equally sensory form.

The showroom is open daily from 11am to 8pm, with an earlier closing time on Sundays (7pm).
