The materials are sourced from fair-trade and eco-responsible shepherds and producers, highlighting this ancestral know-how into contemporary ready-to-wear. That’s why, we would wished to know more about this last direction, wished by Laurence Levy

– Laurence Levy, could you introduce us in some words this new inspired cashmere A/W 2025 collection of the Maison Eric Bompard and who imagined it?

..with a touch minimalism and elegance, recalling the inner spirit of cashmere.
Laurence Levy is glad to introduce you this new collection, full of potential..

It all starts with… a suitcase. A streamlined wardrobe filled with a chic, pragmatic selection of pieces to layer up and mix and match: bodysuits, cashmere socks and twinsets, pleated knit skirts and bomber jackets, cable-stitch roll-necks and men’s-style jumpers. A natural collection for Autumn/Winter 2024-25, designed to elevate your look. Director of Design Carolyn Randolfi’s concept for the collection was based on colours that go well together: Vanda violet, Dawn yellow, Niagara blue, Retro pink, Celebrity orange and Carouby green. Inspired by the tapestries of modernist Bauhaus women, Randolfi sketched out the lines of a graceful silhouette, balancing a clean-lined allure with variations that play joyfully with colour.

– May you tell us more about your path before landing in Maison Éric Bompard?

..adorned with a wide palette of colors, that would naturally satisfy any personality
This line, designed to enhance your natural allure, appears as either chic and functional..

I began my career in 2005 as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman before joining the Corporate Strategy Department of the Danone Group. In 2012, I joined L’Oréal’s luxury division in the Travel Retail channel  and I worked on Couture fragrances brands such as Giorgio Armani, Viktor & Rolf or Ralph Lauren. I left Travel Retail during Covid as I was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté alongside the brand Global President. After spending 10 years in the beauty world, I was appointed  CEO of Repetto in June 2022, with the challenge of modernising and revitalising the iconic brand, which I left following the death of Jean-Marc Gaucher.

..and tartan skirts, you have a wide pattern choice.
Between patchwork cardigans and other tops..

– What inspired you the most to take up this new fashion challenge?

I am inspired by French heritage brands, iconic brands with a strong savoir-faire and a DNA. And it is very exciting to lead those brands to new frontiers and develop their awareness and their appeal to a broader audience : to younger clients and in new markets.

..this direction merges tradition and modernity for a winter season full of refinement.
This plural variation of patterns and shapes truly mark a new chapter for Éric Bompard..

– What is the new artistic direction you and your team wish to lead in this acclaimed French house, founded in 1985?

We are building a Bompard’s silhouette, we want to propose a full look that’s why we are working on diversifying our offer and moving from a cahsmere brand to exceptional fabrics specialist. Timeless elegance and colors are our key words, our aim is to propose contemporary essentials, a daily wardrobe for women to find what they want for any occasion.
