To celebrate its centenary, the Maison Lombard introduces its Lieu-Dit Champagne cuvées in Paris

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Maison Lombard is unveiling a unique event in Paris, a temporary pop-up in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, from May 24th to June 9th, 2025.

This immersive space offers to all champagne enthusiasts and visitors a unique immersion into this inspired winehouse’s world, combining sensory discovery, terroir exploration, and exclusive experiences. By AP

Founded in 1925 by Robert Andrieu, an agricultural engineer from Montpellier, the Champagne Lombard celebrates one hundred years of family history and a passion for winemaking. Today, led by Thomas Lombard, the founder’s great-grandson, it perpetuates a know-how, centered on the pure expression of the terroirs. True to its roots, this historical winehouse constantly wishes to explore new ways of interpreting those eclectic Champagne vineyards (photo credits: Champagne Lombard).

Designed as a contemporary showcase of Maison Lombard‘s identity, this temporary space highlights the authenticity of its champagnes, sourced from unique Champagne plots, and even rediscover the house’s universe, through a refined selection of its iconic cuvées, including their Lieu-Dit line, as a true reflection of those local terroirs.. On the menu, a few tastings, some virtual reality, a scent cabinet, and other curiosities, to immerse visitors in the richness of those Champagne‘s soils. Every odd day, masterclasses, led by experts, provide a deeper understanding of the production of vintages and the impact of the terroir

This Pop-Up is imagined as a true place of communication..

Unique moments are therefore offered, like a guided tasting with Louis-Victor Charvet on the expressions of the terroir (May 29th), a sensory symphony around Blanc de Blancs (June 1st), refined pairings with Caviar Prunier (June 3rd, more details about this house here), and a dive into the history of Chardonnay with Yves Tesson (June 5th). In addition, creative workshops will be offered, such as candlemaking with Marsault, using recycled bottles (June 7th), and on the same day, a unique sensory exploration over the influence of glassware, with the Lehmann glassworks

Among the featured cuvées, the Brut Nature Chouilly Grand Cru, issued from “La Vigne Bouillet” plot, a blanc de blancs cuvée, seduces with its generous nose and mouthwatering palate. Another gem, the special anniversary cuvée, a Rosé de Saignée, made from Verzenay Pinot Noir, presented in an exclusive patented bottle, designed to preserve the wine‘s freshness. Finally, the House innovates with its organic Distilled Gin, from grapes, better known as “Esprit Les Ribauds”, inspired by a locality and made from carefully selected botanicals, full of citrus and spices notes, forging a unique link between champagne and spirits
