Last April 18th 2024 was launched the 4th edition of the ABK6 Cognac Artist Collection by the Domaine Abécassis. Pursuing a real success through a collaboration with various artists, that either pleased epicureans and Cognac enthusiasts (photo credits: Domaine Abecassis).
Thus, this realization illustrates in a certain way the wish of authenticity and modernity of ABK6 Cognacs. By the way, this collection offers a unique and full sensory experience, where your tasting moment may be decorated with colors. In fact, each edition of this Artist Collection tells its own and unique story, embodied in a true delight. In this case, ABK6 wishes to display the artistic inspiration of Audrey Sedano, around the heritage of Charente, with this Réserve Cognac, where the illustrious Vaisseau Moebius is reinterpreted as a comic strip echo of the emblematic building, from the city of Angoulême.
Therefore the Cognac ABK6‘s typography is unveiled as a pattern, referring to the art of calligraphy, used in the cellars on Cognac barrels. Thereafter, the surrounding colors somehow symbolize this plural territory, from the blue water of the Charente river, until the green shades of the overall vineyards, passing by the honey dress from any random Cognac juice. Without forgetting a mixture of linocut for an anchor in tradition and craftsmanship (reference to the papermaking past of Angoulême), and even some digital creation, reference to the resolutely modern times of this so-called Cité des Valois.
This limited-edition Cognac contains a ABK6 Reserve cuvée, displaying an elegant nose reveals a beautiful and fruity balance, ranging from fresh seasonal fruits until the fragrances of candied fruits. Then, a palate gets unveiled with supple and generous aromas of vanilla and a woody aromatic persistence, enhanced with a spicy finish.
